Our Winter Conditioning program is the “season” leading up to the Spring competitive season for grades 8 to 12. Novice, new, and varsity rowers work on rowing technique, strength training, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning and team building. Practices are held Monday – Thursday and Saturday at both FCC’s indoor Fitness Center and Pittsford’s indoor rowing tanks. Winter Conditioning (or coach’s permission due to a conflicting sport) is required to participate in the Spring Season.
Just heard about rowing? Get started today! Although Winter Conditioning started January 21, mid-season registration at a lower rate is open for new rowers or those just finishing a winter sport. Conditioning is required for participation in the Spring Season. Winter Conditioning runs through Saturday, April 12.
